Upper Woodford Valley Beat
on theNo images available
A beautiful private house beat offering approximately half a mile of main river Avon fishing on the true right bank through stunning grounds and riverbank. Plenty of wild brown trout as well as carefully stocked browns that have over-wintered and grown very large. The estate operates a catch and release policy for the larger trout and all wild fish (trout and grayling). The upper river Avon enjoys a very good mayfly hatch lasting from mid May right through to July. Fish feed avidly from the surface and dry fly action is generally excellent. Can be combined with the Wilsford Manor beat to accommodate groups of 6 rods.
