About Ogden Reservoir

Ogden is a 60 acre reservoir in the Grane Valley, the upper part of the valley of the River Ogden west of Haslingden, in the West Pennine Moors of Rossendale. It is fished by Haslingden and District Fly Fishing Club, which calls it the premier fishery in the area. The club stocks it through the season with rainbow trout of 2¼ to 10lb, and the fly life includes buzzers, olives, sedges, hawthorn flies, daddy longlegs and mayflies.
