About Chalk Springs Lakes
The lakes at Chalk Springs Trout Fishery sit on old watercress beds on the edge of Arundel, in the South Downs National Park. There are four, all fed by natural springs, and the fishery says the clear water holds rainbow and brown trout.
Tickets are for 2 fish at £50, 3 fish at £60 or 4 fish at £70, booked online. All fish caught must be kept, and the fishery does not allow catch and release. You fish with a single fly, with no droppers, floats or indicators, a maximum hook size of 8, and a leader of at least 6lb. Anglers fill in the catch return book and move from peg to peg, taking care to leave other anglers their space.
The fishery is open from 8am to 5pm every day, and no one is let in before 8am. It is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
