About River Wye, Ingestone Fishery
This is Ingestone Beat, about 2 miles of the River Wye near Ross-on-Wye, fished by members only. The fishery does not say where the stretch starts and finishes. It describes a secluded, tranquil stretch with private bank fishing, and members can drive along the whole of it.
The fishery is run by Dawley Estates. Salmon membership for 2026 is £700, and the fly season runs from 3 March to 17 October, with spinning from 3 March to 31 August. The beat suits four rods a day, members tell the fishery in advance when they will fish, and the salmon fishing is unguided, so members fish the whole stretch at their own pace. A member’s guest pays £40 a day. The fishery also runs a coarse syndicate on the same water.
Membership is by application only and the fishery restricts numbers, so a place cannot be guaranteed. Use the online application form on the Dawley Estates website, or email the office.
Pricing and season
Indicative prices. They don't show whether a day is still free and other rates may apply, so confirm availability and the final price with whoever you book through before you travel.
