About Middle Hill Court

Middle Hill Court is just under a mile of double bank on the River Wye between Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, in the shadow of Goodrich Castle. The Passport calls it a noted spring salmon fishery with several named pools, among them The Rope, the tail of The Vanstone, The Parson Tree Stream and the Ford Stream, and says the water suits spinner only. The page also lists coarse fishing for barbel, chub, pike and other species.
