Chew Magna Reservoir is a stocked rainbow trout lake near Chew Magna, managed by Knowle Angling Association. It is fly fishing only.

The rainbows are supplied by Bristol Water. Once stocked they take to the water quickly, so the fishing is about matching the hatch, and in late spring and summer there is a good evening rise. The car park is close to the water.

It is members’ water. Knowle members fish it on their membership, and two fish a day can be kept. Frome and District Angling Association members can also fish it on a £15 day ticket booked through the Clubmate Fishing app.
