We Fly Fish is a guiding and coaching outfit whose coaches, the We Fly Fish Pros, are licensed by the Angling Trust. Every day they sell is guided: the price covers your coach, all the tackle and the fishing permit, so there is nothing else to book.
On the chalk streams they guide on the Hampshire Avon at Avon Springs in Durrington, the stretch made famous by Frank Sawyer, and on a beat of the upper Test. They also run courses on the lakes at Avon Springs and at Manningford near Pewsey, and a two-day package in Wiltshire with a night at the Dog and Gun in Netheravon. Away from Wessex they teach on stillwaters in Surrey and Sussex, including Albury, Frensham and Bewl Water.
Trout are the target through the summer, then grayling and pike once the trout season closes. Groups are kept small, with three beginners to a coach at most, and they can bring in more coaches for a family day or a corporate group.
