About Charlie Atherton
Charlie Atherton runs CA Fly-fishing from Somerset, teaching fly casting and guiding for trout, grayling and salmon. He learned to fish on lakes around London and on the Hampshire chalk streams, and spent twenty years as a history teacher, running fly-fishing clubs in his schools, before turning to teaching fly-fishing full time.
He guides for trout and grayling on the chalk streams of Berkshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset, including the Test, Itchen, Kennet, Wylye and Nadder, and for salmon and sea trout on the Tweed. He teaches single- and double-handed casting to all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to anglers fixing faults. Gift vouchers are available.
