About Wessex Salmon and Trout Association
Wessex Salmon and Trout Association is a fly fishing group with chalk stream fishing on the River Allen, just outside Wimborne in Dorset. It supports WildFish, the wild fish conservation charity, and encourages visitors to join it.
Day tickets are available from £30, and the association also offers season tickets, subject to availability. If you are thinking about a season ticket, it suggests booking a day ticket first as a try day, and it will deduct the price of that day from a season ticket if you go ahead. A committee member will show you around the beat when time allows. Beginners are welcome.
The group also gets together to fish local waters, especially for sea bass and mullet. For ticket enquiries, ring David on the number below or use the contact form on the website.
