Drift Reservoir is a 65 acre water about 2.5 miles from Penzance in west Cornwall, fished through Drift Fly Fishing Club. The club says it is large enough to give a big water feel without being overwhelming, with open banks and back cast room, secluded bays and drop offs into deep water. There are no windsurfers or sailing dinghies, and few dog walkers.

The club stocks rainbow and blue trout from Exmoor Fisheries, with a minimum stocking size of 2.5lb and fish up to double figures, and aims to stock at least six times a year. Wild brown trout live in the reservoir and must be returned unharmed. The club fishes all year, and says dry fly fishing in the warmer months can be outstanding.

Bank fishing is open to members and temporary members. Float tubing follows the BFTA buddy system, and the western bay is a nature reserve and out of bounds. The club has a boat with a motor for two anglers, included with full season membership. Annual membership is £300 for bank fishing or £350 for bank, boat and float tube, and a limited number of weekly, weekend and day memberships are offered to visitors. There is a free car park above the dam.
