About Drift Fly Fishing Club
Drift Fly Fishing Club controls the stocking and the fishing at Drift Reservoir, a 65 acre water about 2.5 miles from Penzance in west Cornwall. The club stocks rainbow and blue trout, bought from Exmoor Fisheries, and the reservoir also holds wild brown trout, which must be returned.
It is run by its members, with no joining fee and a maximum of 50 annual members. Annual membership runs from 1 October to the end of September and is £300 for bank fishing or £350 for bank, boat and float tube. When membership is full there is a waiting list. The club also allows a limited number of temporary memberships: £150 for a week, £80 for a weekend and £50 for a day. Ring to check whether a weekly or weekend place is free. The boat is for full season members, or week members accompanied by a full season member for a £20 daily boat fee.
To ask about membership or a visit, ring one of the club contacts listed on its website or use the email address printed there.
