Carbis and Sterrick are the two main lakes at Innis Fly Fishery, near Penwithick and St Austell. Both are stocked weekly with rainbow trout from 2lb upwards, grown on at the fishery. The fishery says there is plenty of room for anglers to rotate around the lakes, with wide open banks, purpose built jetties and tighter reed edged and tree covered swims.

Fishing is fly only. The bag tickets are catch and dispatch with a three fly limit on the cast: £40 for five fish, £30 for three and £20 for two, with an option to carry on catch and release for a further £15. A catch and release only ticket is £25, with a limit of 12 fish, and a parent and child ticket is £40. Prices are those published from 1 February 2025. Season tickets are limited in number, so ask the fishery about availability.

Please fill in a catch return and put it in the container at the information board, as the fishery uses the returns to plan its stocking. The lakes are open from 8am until dusk.
