About Innis Fly Fishery

Innis Fly Fishery is a fly fishing only venue on Innis Moor, near Penwithick and St Austell in Cornwall, close to the Eden Project. It has three lakes, Carbis, Sterrick and the Innis Specimen Lake, stocked with rainbow trout raised on site in holding tanks. It was founded by Dave Johns, who still runs it, and it hosted the first International Bank Fly Fishing Championships in 2010.

The lakes are open from 8am until dusk. Carbis and Sterrick are stocked weekly from 2lb upwards, and the Specimen Lake holds several double figure trout. There is a car park close to the lakes, a toilet near it, and good access for anglers of all abilities. Fishing is by bag ticket, catch and release ticket or season ticket. Boats can be hired for a morning, afternoon or full day, and the fishery offers tuition, corporate days and a winter league. Kingfisher Lodge on site is available as holiday accommodation.

Prices on the site are headed from 1 February 2025, so ring to check the current ones.
