Millan Waters is a trout lake of between six and seven acres near Iwade in North Kent, fished by a members only syndicate. There is a deep channel that the syndicate says gives cooler water in the summer, and bushes and trees around the lake that bring plenty of insect life through the season.

The lake is stocked with rainbow, brown and sparctic trout from Duncton Mill Fish Farm. The fishery’s recorded best fish are a rainbow of 21lb 10oz and a brown of 15lb 5oz. Fishing is fly only and catch and release is optional, within set limits on how many trout a member may take: three a day, six a week and 40 a season. During July and August high temperature controls apply, optional catch and release is suspended and fish caught must be killed within those limits.

The lake has fishing platforms, a car park and a returns hut, and boats for members with mooring buoys on the water. Wading is prohibited. Members only: there is no fishing for the general public.
