About Addingham Angling Association
Addingham Angling Association was set up in 1983 by a small group of local anglers to fish the River Wharfe at Addingham. It provides about 1.5 miles of mostly double bank trout and grayling fishing upstream of the village, and all fish are returned.
Full membership is currently full: the club has paused its waiting list and says that at the current rate the wait could be over three years. Intermediate membership for anglers aged 18 to 21 and free youth membership for under 18s are still open. Non-members can fish on a day ticket, but only two are issued each day, with three more reserved for Addingham parish residents, and they must be bought in advance on the club’s website. Fly and bait are both allowed.
How fishing here works
Non-members can buy a ticket for a single day, sold alongside membership.
