About Penshurst Park Trout Fishery

Penshurst Park Trout Fishery is a small, privately run fly fishery in the grounds of Penshurst Place, the family home of Viscount De L’Isle, near Tonbridge in Kent. It has two lakes of roughly one and two acres, stocked through the season with rainbow trout of about 3lb and an occasional brown.

It is a members’ syndicate and sells no day tickets or pay and fish. Membership numbers are limited, and the membership page says there is a waiting list for new members. Members may invite guests for a fee, and the club holds a social day each spring and several working parties a year.

The fishery’s membership page quotes a £500 subscription for the 2023 season, which is out of date, so ask for the current fee. To ask about a place or the waiting list, use the contact form or email address on the fishery’s website.
