This is Endsleigh Fishing Club’s water on the lower River Tamar: twelve miles of both banks, from Greystone Bridge down to Inghers Meadow above Calstock, on the border between Devon and Cornwall. The club is on the Devon bank. It divides the water into six beats fished in rotation, with two rods on each beat each day. Each beat has ten to twelve named pools, and Beat 6, which begins below Horsebridge, runs on through Gunnislake Weir into tidal water. This listing covers all six together.

The club says the fishing is almost exclusively fly, with a double handed salmon rod of 14 to 15 feet recommended for long casts and chest waders needed in most wading pools. It also has sea trout, which are fished by day and especially in the evening, and brown trout, which anyone who has paid for a salmon rod may fish. The season starts on 1 March and ends on 30 September for trout and on 14 October for salmon. Boats are kept at Woodtown, Parsons and Leighwood Waterfall.

The club offers some day rods through the season, booked through the club. Membership is rare.
