About Bodmin Anglers Association
Bodmin Anglers Association is a game fishing club on the River Camel in Cornwall, with salmon, sea trout and brown trout fishing. It says its members have many miles of the river, and its maps cover the Camel from Polbrock Bridge up to Trecarne, with a beat on the River Allen as well. The fishing season on the Camel runs from 1 May to 15 December.
This is members’ water. The association’s rules cap adult membership at 400, with no limit on juniors, and say applications after 1 April are dealt with in the order they arrive until the limit is reached, after which a waiting list forms. The committee may vet new members. Children under twelve can fish free with an adult member. The association’s current rules no longer include day or weekly tickets. It does not print this year’s subscription on its website, so ask the Secretary.
To join, download the membership form from the association’s website and follow the instructions on it. The Secretary can be reached by email at baasec23@gmail.com.
