The association says most sea trout fishing is on the lower and mid Camel. Most of the fish are small school peal, with a few up to about 10lb, and many of the larger ones fall to traditional night fly fishing, best from May to mid-August. The Allen holds good numbers of sea trout too, but its banks are heavily tree lined and overgrown, so the association says most are taken by worming. Salmon numbers have declined, but quality fish are still caught each year, from lively summer grilse to autumn fish of 12 to 18lb. Every salmon caught in the Camel catchment must be returned under the Environment Agency byelaw that the association posts on its news page.

The association’s Apply page offers full membership for £60, and the committee decides applications. Its club rules say preference goes to residents of the Wadebridge area. Non-members can buy day and weekly tickets on the same page between 1 May and 30 September, paid by PayPal, and the ticket prices are shown there. Members and ticket holders must follow the club rules, and members may not fish its waters from 16 December to 30 April.
