About Narborough Fisheries

Narborough Fisheries is a private 26 acre fishery in West Norfolk, halfway between King’s Lynn and Swaffham and just off the A47. Chalk stream water from the River Nar runs through its five lakes. One of them, Meadow Lake, is the trout lake, fished fly only from the bank. The others are coarse and carp waters, which this listing does not cover.

Trout tickets are sold by the number of fish you take, from two fish for £26 up to five fish for £44, each with catch and release on top. Unlimited catch and release is £28 for up to eight hours. Barbless hooks only, and all brown trout are returned. Meadow Lake has fishing platforms, so you can move around the bank.

The fishery is open daily from 8am and closes to day fishermen at dusk or 9pm, whichever comes first. A small tackle shop on site sells fly and coarse tackle, hot and cold drinks and sweets, and there is a touring site for caravans, motorhomes and campers. Corporate fly fishing days, with tuition and meals if wanted, can be arranged by phone. Everyone needs a valid Environment Agency rod licence.
