About Bransford Game Fisheries
Bransford Game Fisheries near Worcester has three pools, Island Pool, Lodge Pool and Walton Pool, with views down the Teme valley and depths of up to 25 feet. Island Pool is the catch and release pool and is spring-fed; Lodge and Walton are topped up from an underground source of Malvern spring water. The pools are stocked regularly with Shasta rainbow trout.
Tickets are sold by the fish, cash only and paid before you start, with no time limit within opening hours. Catch and release is on barbless hooks, and brown trout must be returned. The pools can be fished from wheelchair accessible casting platforms, rods can be hired, and lessons with a private angler can be arranged by email.
The fishery is open Tuesday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm in summer and 8am until dusk in winter. There is tea and coffee on a self-service basis, a disabled toilet, and a bed and breakfast and holiday lodge on site.
