About North Yorkshire Water Park Fisheries

North Yorkshire Water Park Fisheries is at Wykeham, near Scarborough, and has three lakes over ten acres: a coarse lake, a trout lake and a predator lake that is open to a pike syndicate only. This listing covers the trout lake, which is fly only.

The trout lake is more than 6 acres of clear water, stocked with rainbow, brown, blue and tiger trout. You can fish from the bank, from the wading bars, or hire a rowing boat for £10. A half day ticket is £16 for four hours and a full day is £25, both for one rod. Fly fishing hire equipment can be booked in advance, and fly fishing guide sessions are offered on the trout lake.

The fishery is open Tuesday to Sunday, and closed on Mondays except bank holidays. It runs first come, first served, so report to the fisheries reception when you arrive. Everyone needs a valid rod licence.
