Double bank

Barrow Tanks is three concrete bowl reservoirs near Barrow Gurney, south west of Bristol. Fishing is from the bank only, with no wading. The water is very clear and the trout rise freely, and the gentle banks of tanks one and two give good dry fly fishing from April to September. It is a fly fishing water, stocked with rainbow trout.

Barrow Tanks has its own cheaper bank only tariff, alongside the tickets that also cover Chew Valley Lake and Blagdon Lake. A full ticket lets you take eight fish and a half day four. Season tickets are sold here too.

Stocking and fish species
