Halswell Farm is about 800 metres of right bank on the lower River Bray near South Molton in North Devon. The Bray is a tributary of the Mole, which feeds the Taw, and its Exmoor water is clear and fast, with riffles, glides and deeper pools.

Dry fly, wet fly, nymph and streamer all have a place for the wary wild brown trout. Sea trout fishing by day is best from the start of July, ideally after a spate, and salmon fishing is best from mid July, during and after a spate. Chest waders and a wading staff are advised.

Fly only, day time fishing only, and all fish are returned. A day costs 4 Fish Pass tokens, booked through the Westcountry Angling Passport.
