The Lake at Yeaveley Estate is a one and a half acre fly fishing water near Ashbourne in Derbyshire, on a private estate better known for shooting and corporate days. It is described by the estate as perhaps the finest small dry fly lake in Derbyshire, and in summer it is alive with natural fly life.

A day ticket costs £40, payable on the day. The bag limit is three fish, your first three caught, and after that fishing continues catch and release on barbless hooks for up to five more fish. Extra fish can be bought on the day. There are no concessions, no evening tickets and no catch and release only option.

The lake is open 1 May to 19 September, Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, closed Sundays and Mondays. Only six rods fish the lake at a time, so booking ahead by phone or email is essential. Banks are mown grass, and there is a small lodge to rest in, with toilets at the main lodge nearby. Tuition and rod hire can both be arranged in advance.
