About Felix Farm Trout Fishery

Felix Farm Trout Fishery is a stillwater at Binfield, near Bracknell in Berkshire. The lake is a mature, spring-fed eight acres, bordered by woodland and fields, with shallow and deep swims from three to thirty feet.

Fishing is from the open meadowland bank, from one of six wooded fishing platforms, or from one of six rowing boats. The lake is regularly stocked with rainbow trout from two to ten pounds, and brown trout are also present, though these must always be returned.

Day tickets are sold by the fish, from one fish with an extra catch and release fish at £25 up to four fish at £50, and a four fish, fully catch and release ticket at £40. Season tickets run for twelve months, with twenty five or fifty fish options for bank or boat fishing, and a catch and release season ticket capped at four fish a visit.

Tuition and tackle hire are both available, including a beginner package with a lesson, hire and a two fish ticket. Fishing is fly only, a single fly with no droppers or bite indicators. The fishery is open every day of the year, from eight in the morning to last cast, later in spring and summer than in autumn and winter.
