About Stowting Trout Lake
Stowting Trout Lake is a clear, spring fed two acre fly lake below the North Downs, near Ashford in Kent. It has been a family run business since 1986. The lake is stocked regularly, mostly with rainbows and some blues and browns.
It is open every day from 8am throughout the year, by appointment only, and closes at dusk. Bookings are by telephone only. A full day is £30, a half day or any five hours is £20 and an evening ticket for the last three hours is £17, with juniors (16 and under) at half price. Payment is by cash or bank transfer on the day.
There is a toilet, free tea and coffee, a microwave and an indoor sitting area. Dogs are not allowed, and children under 14 must be with an adult.
