Club Lake is the larger of the two trout lakes at Avon Springs in Durrington, near Salisbury: about five acres of spring-fed water beside the Hampshire Avon. Like Willow Lake next door it is gin clear, and stocked with rainbow trout from around 2 lb up into double figures.
With more room than Willow, it suits anglers who want space to cast and to cover water. The banks are flat and kept tidy, with fishing platforms and seats, and there is a picnic area and toilets on site.
Tickets cover both lakes and go by the number of fish you take: £65 for a four-fish day, £55 for three fish on a half day, and £45 for two fish in the evening from 4pm. Book online through the Catch app, or ring the fishery.
