About Barnard Castle Angling Club

Barnard Castle Angling Club was set up in February 1938, when Lord Barnard’s agent agreed a lease of the first stretch of water on the River Tees. The club now fishes several sections of the Tees at Barnard Castle, with pools from Towler to Waters End, as well as a section of the River Greta at Bowes.
