About Causeway Fly Fishers
Causeway Fly Fishers is a private members’ fly fishing club in north west Essex, near Saffron Walden. It describes itself as a friendly syndicate run on a not for profit basis, with a maximum of 35 members who range from novices to very experienced anglers, and it offers tuition to members without cost.
The club’s water is a four acre lake, up to 18 feet deep, holding rainbow, blue, brown and tiger trout and Spartic trout. Fishing is fly only and runs all year except Christmas Day. The club says it occasionally has vacancies, and anyone interested can get in touch to arrange a taster session with a member before joining.
