Day tickets can be booked, and season rods are also available on the upper beats. A full time ghillie shows rods the beats, one to one guides can be provided, and the estate runs fishing courses. The estate says wading is often required and can be quite deep, although the shingle bed is generally easy. Rooms are available for rods at Abercothi Farm, which is on the river and has a rod room.

The estate’s prices page lists a rod at £50 a day in April, £75 a day in May and £100 a day from June to 17 October, or £200, £300 and £400 for a whole beat. Dryslwyn Castle from August to 17 October is £100 a rod or £160 a beat. VAT is included. The estate asks for the names and addresses of all rods and may give priority to anyone wishing to book a whole beat.

Fishing is by fly or spinner only and worms, prawns and shrimps are not permitted. The estate encourages anglers to return their fish, and all salmon caught before 16 June must be returned. Dogs are allowed if they are under proper control. Book through the estate by telephone or its enquiry form.
