About Llanybydder Angling Association
Llanybydder Angling Association is a village club on the River Teifi in West Wales, formed well over 25 years ago and run by local residents. It has about 4.5 miles of river in seven beats around Llanybydder, 5 miles south of Lampeter and about 17 miles north of Carmarthen on the A485. The club describes brown trout, sea trout (sewin), salmon and growing numbers of grayling.
The club sells season permits, weekly permits and day tickets. In 2026 a guest day ticket is £10 from 1 April to 31 July and £20 from 1 August to 17 October, and a guest weekly ticket is £50 and then £60. A comprehensive adult permit is £75 before 1 June and £95 after, with one free child permit included. Permits are sold at Siop Y Bont, the Londis store on Market Square in Llanybydder, open from 6.30am to 9pm every day. The club says anglers should carry a valid Natural Resources Wales rod licence too.
