About Lymm Angling Club
Lymm Angling Club is a large angling club with still waters, canals and rivers, most of it coarse fishing. This page describes only its game fishing, on two river stretches: the Mill length of the River Bollin near Lymm, where the club reports resident brown trout and, in recent years, returning sea trout and salmon, and a stretch of the Peover Eye at Bate Mill, which has brown trout, grayling and some escaped rainbow trout.
Silver membership, which the club sells for canals and rivers, is open all year and runs for 12 months from purchase. For 2026 it costs £82.50 to renew, or £148.50 for a new member including the £66 joining fee. The club’s Gold and Gold Plus memberships, which also cover its still waters, are by waiting list. All members need an Environment Agency rod licence.
