About Elinor Trout Fishery
Elinor Trout Fishery is a family run, spring fed limestone lake of 50 acres at Aldwincle, near Kettering in Northamptonshire, with one and a half miles of bank and a fleet of fifteen foot boats. It is a fly fishing only venue, stocked most weeks with rainbow and brown trout.
The fishery is open daily from 7.30am to sunset, closed in August and from 31 December to mid February, with bank fishing in January for season ticket holders only. Day tickets are sold by fish limit, from a six fish ticket at £37 to a catch and release day at £25, and are paid for on the day by cash or bank transfer only, with no card facility at the lodge. Boats are best booked by telephone or email, and the fishery runs beginner’s days and refresher days.
