About Beacons Reservoir

Beacons Reservoir is a small wilderness reservoir of 52 acres, the highest of three at the head of the Taff Valley. It is mostly a wild brown trout fishery, although a few large rainbows remain from previous stocking. It is a fly fishing only water where small, imitative patterns are usually the most successful. No boats are available or allowed, and the banks are easy to get to.
