About Cleatham Lake
Cleatham Trout Fishery’s lake covers 4 acres and is up to 17ft deep, set in open Lincolnshire countryside close to Kirton in Lindsey. The fishery stocks it with rainbow, brown and blue trout, which it describes as running from 2lb up to 20lb, and has swims placed around the bank with mown lawns between them. The fishery says it is easy for disabled anglers to fish.
Day tickets in 2026 are £25 for one fish, £33 for two and £41 for three. You keep the number of fish on your ticket, and the fishery says this is not a selective fish ticket, so the first fish you catch are the ones you take. After that you can carry on catch and release, up to a limit of 20 fish. All wild fish, and all stocked fish of 3lb and over, are released. Tickets are bought on arrival and paid for in cash.
Only conventional fly fishing tackle is allowed, with barbless hooks, a knotless mesh landing net, and fish dispatched with a priest. A rod licence is needed, and wading is not allowed. Anglers must be at least 5 years old, and anyone under 18 must be with an adult. The position shown is approximate.
