About Garnffrwd Lake

Garnffrwd is a 5 acre spring-fed lake in woodland at Mynyddcerrig, near Llanelli, built in 1983 for trout fishing. The park says the lake is fed by a quarter of a million gallons of natural spring water a day and has good hatches of sedge, damsel, mayfly and other flies and crustaceans. The platforms are placed so that most of the water can be covered with room for each angler.
