About Old Hall Lake
Old Hall is larger than Frog Hall at South Elmham Lakes, over 2 acres with two wildfowl islands. The deepest end is 14 feet, and the whole lake is a mixture of deep gullies, shallows and underwater features.
The long northern bank is mainly deep water, while the southern side is mainly shallow with a few deeper holes within casting range, under mature trees and set among wildflower meadow. The lake has a stock of rainbow trout and large brown trout.
A total of 3 fish can be caught on this lake in a day, whether released or taken. Fishing is fly only with barbless hooks, and brown trout stay in the water.
