About Talybont Reservoir

Talybont is a 318 acre wild brown trout wilderness reservoir in a heavily wooded, steep sided valley in the Brecon Beacons. Fishing is fly only and only from the bank. The Passport recommends floating lines with small imitative and traditional patterns such as the Coch-y-bonddu, and says the ranunculus beds near the crumbling bridge pillars are renowned as a good spot.
