About Prysor Angling Association
Prysor Angling Association was formed on 2 June 1898 for local anglers on the Afon Prysor, near Trawsfynydd in Gwynedd. It manages Llyn Trawsfynydd through the Prysor Angling Lake Management Committee, a sub group of the association made up entirely of volunteers, with no help from a water company or other outside body. The association has renovated the Prysor Centre on the lake shore, which has a cafe, a fishing tackle shop and the permit office.
The Fishing Passport sells day tickets on the Afon Prysor and the Afon Eden, where the association has worked to keep livestock out of the water and improve the habitat for fish. Those beats are listed separately. This listing shows Llyn Trawsfynydd, where the association stocks rainbow trout among the natural browns and hires out a fleet of boats.
