About Danebridge Fisheries
Danebridge Fisheries is a fly only trout lake at Wincle, near Macclesfield, on the edge of the Peak District. The fishery describes it as a Trout Master water and says the natural food in the lake makes fieldcraft important. It is stocked with rainbow, brown, tiger, blue and spartic trout, and it is open every day of the year from dawn to dusk.
Tickets are sport tickets of 5 or 9 hours, and tickets that include one, two or three fish to take. You can pay cash on the day or book and pay online through GoCatch. Fish over 10lb and all brown trout are returned, and dogs are welcome. To find the lake, turn off at the brewery and carry on down the track.
