About Thornwood Springs Trout Fishery

Thornwood Springs is a spring fed trout fly fishery on the edge of Epping Forest, at Thornwood near Epping. The founder and manager designed the lakes, and the fishery describes the water as clear and spring fed, with plenty of insect life and wildlife. It is stocked with rainbow, blue, tiger and brown trout and is open all year, helped by deep pools and oxygenation. A resident instructor is on hand for anglers who want help.
