The fishery says it is stocked with excellent quality rainbow trout into double figures, with some brown and blue trout, and the lake record for a rainbow stands at 18lb. There are 17 pegs, including a fishing platform for disabled anglers, and parking close by.

Tickets are by the number of fish, for four hours or for the day, and a ticket notes how many fish you may keep. Once you have caught your bag you can carry on catch and release until the time on your ticket. All brown trout must be returned. Barbless hooks are required.
