About Lodge Lake

Lodge Lake is one of the two lakes of about 16 acres at the Leez Lakes near Great Leighs, the water of Essex Fly Fishers’ Club. The club’s lodge stands on its northern bank, and that is where members sign in and out, hire boats and record their catches. There is hard standing for cars next to the lodge. The westerly and southerly banks are mostly grassed, which the club says makes bank fishing easy, with occasional benches.
