About New Platt Fisheries

New Platt Fisheries is a members only fly fishery on a 37 acre lake at Allostock, on the edge of Goostrey in Cheshire. The lake was formed in the 1980s when sand quarry workings were flooded, and it has two islands and is surrounded by woodland. Trout fishing started there in the 1990s and the lake has been under its current owners since 2018. The fishery is managed by members for the benefit of members.
