About Withern Mill Trout Farm
Withern Mill Trout Farm is a working trout farm at Withern, on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, with five fly fishing lakes and half a mile of the Great Eau running through the farm. The farm says the lakes are regularly stocked with rainbow and blue trout from 2lb to 10lb, with larger fish added through the year, and that the river holds grayling and wild brown trout. It describes the lakes as suiting both a novice and an experienced angler.
In 2026 the day tickets are £22 for a catch and release day, and £25, £30, £35 and £45 for one, two, four and six fish. The farm sells the lakes and the river on a day ticket, and children under 13 may fish with an adult on a shared four fish ticket. All fishing is fly only with single barbless hooks, every brown trout must be returned, and so must any trout over 5lb. Wading is not allowed anywhere on the fishery.
The farm also has a holiday cottage and a five pitch camping and caravan site, which are booked by phone.
