About Weston Lakes
Weston is the home of the estate’s fishing lodge at Albury, with five lakes and pools fed by spring water and about six acres of water in all. Four of them, the Main lake, Wood Lodge pool and the Upper and Lower Kingfisher pools, are the trout waters. They are fed from Silent Pool and have plenty of bank space and open room for a back cast. The estate says the lakes are rich in buzzer, olive, damsel, sedge and mayfly.
Rainbow trout average 2lb 8oz, with a good share of larger fish stocked well into double figures, and the lakes are stocked several times a week. The fifth water, Mill House, is a designated fly for carp lake and is not part of the trout fishing. The River Tillingbourne runs beside the lower lake as the estate’s Office beat.
A day membership is £17 and each fish uses one fish token, so a day with two tokens is £45. Season membership is £240 for 2026/27. There is no catch and release on the trout lakes. The lake entrance is opposite the Albury Estate Yard office on the A248.
