About Albury Estate Fisheries
Albury Estate Fisheries runs fly fishing for trout on the Albury Estate in the Surrey Hills, near Guildford. There are three trout waters in the day and season offer: Weston Lakes and Vale End, which are open to day members, and Powdermill, which is for season members. The lakes are stocked several times a week with trout reared on the estate’s own fish farm.
You pay for a membership and then for fish tokens. A day membership is £17 and a season membership is £240 for 2026/27. Each fish you catch uses one token, and there is no catch and release on the trout lakes, so a day with two tokens comes to £45. Fishing is fly only and is booked online before you come. Weston also has Mill House, a separate lake fished with a fly for carp, catch and release only. Albury Park, the estate’s other water, is syndicate only and is not listed here.
Fly fishing lessons at Albury are run by We Fly Fish, and Weston is home to the estate’s fishing lodge and cafe, The Smokery.
