About River Bollin, Bollin and Birkin Flyfishers
Bollin and Birkin Flyfishers fish about 9.6 kilometres of the River Bollin. The club notes that the Environment Agency has tracked radio tagged salmon and sea trout in the river, and its rules give open seasons for migratory trout and for salmon on the Bollin as well as for brown trout. The club also permits coarse fishing on the Bollin.
The rules warn that some pools on the river are deep and can be dangerous to wade. They also advise that anyone fishing the Bollin should not fish alone, and a member may bring a friend or relative who can fish free of charge. The water is for members of the club. The club does not publish the limits of its Bollin water in words, so the position shown is approximate.
