About Foxhill Trout Fishery
Foxhill is a spring fed fishery at Camrose, near Haverfordwest, which the fishery describes as a natural fly fishery with clean, cold water through the year and depths of up to 40 feet. It stocks rainbow, blue, brown and spartic trout, from 3lb fish up to specimens of 20lb.
You can fish on a catch and release ticket, which returns your catch to the water, or a catch and kill ticket, where fish are priced individually and you take them home. Day tickets and season tickets are available, and the fishery does not publish its prices online, so ring the fishery to ask. Weekends need booking, and weekdays are usually fine to turn up.
It opens at 7am in summer and 8am in winter, and closes at dusk. Landing nets are supplied, there is free tea and coffee all day, and the fishery shop stocks tackle and flies.
